Installing WPS office on Ubuntu 22.04

Not many knows that WPS office is having a native Linux version. WPS office is highly recommended if you want to work on some documents generated using MS office. Even though most Linux systems are preinstalled with Libreoffice, it may have compatibility issues with newer document formats that are supported by MS office. Also, WPS office is available for all popular platforms including Windows, MAC, Linux, Android and IOS. This makes it easy to work across multiple devices seamless.

Download the latest deb version of the package from the official website.

You can just double click to install the downloaded package or you can install it using the below command.

sudo dpkg -i wps-office_11.1.0.11664.XA_amd64.deb

Installation using Flatpak

flatpak install flathub com.wps.Office

Installation using Snap

sudo snap install wps-office
