To plan the location it is important to know the position of the sun, moon, and sometimes also the milky way. Where to find the sun at which time is most of the time easy to guess but when is the sunset? And for the milky way normally nobody knows where to find it in the night sky at which time at a specific location. This small program should answer all these questions.
Calculates and displays the positions of the Sun, Moon and Milky Way for any time and location on the earth. . This tool is useful for photography planning as it gives information on when these celestial bodies rise and set, as well as where in the sky they should be visible in terms of azimuth and elevation.
How to install PicPlanner in Ubuntu
If you are on a supported distro, you can install the application through software center by clicking the below link.
If the above link not working, run the below command in terminal to install picplanner in Ubuntu
sudo apt install picplanner
