HexChat supports features such as: DCC, SASL, proxies, spellcheck, alerts, logging, custom themes, and Python/Perl scripts.

How to install HexChat in Ubuntu

If the above link not working, run the below command in terminal to install hexchat in Ubuntu
sudo apt install hexchat
