Tool to adjust advanced configuration settings for GNOME
GNOME Tweaks allows adjusting advanced GNOME options.
It can install and manage themes and extensions, change power settings, manage startup applications, and enable desktop icons among other settings.
GNOME Tweak Tool allows the adjustment of several advanced GNOME options that can't be configured in gnome-control-center. This includes things like:
- fonts used in user interface elements and titlebar
- font hinting and aliasing
- alternative user interface themes
- changes in window management behaviour
- behaviour on laptop lid close
- file manager desktop icons
- icons in menus and buttons
How to install GNOME Tweaks in Ubuntu
If you are on a supported distro, you can install the application through software center by clicking the below link.
If the above link not working, run the below command in terminal to install gnome-tweaks in Ubuntu
sudo apt install gnome-tweaks
